1. Introduction

Project Pulse ("the App") is a private, single-user business tool operated by Black Platinum Solar & Electric Inc, Phoenix, AZ. It is used exclusively by the business owner to track EV charger installation projects through an internal workflow pipeline. The App is not available to the general public.

2. Information We Collect

The App collects the following information solely for authentication and business operations:

  • Google Account info — name, email address, and profile picture, obtained through Google OAuth 2.0 sign-in. Used only to authenticate the authorized user.
  • Google Calendar data — the App creates, updates, and deletes calendar events related to job task due dates. It does not read or access any pre-existing calendar data.
  • Google Drive data — the App uploads project documents (permits, plans, invoices) to Google Drive on behalf of the user. It only accesses files it has created.
  • Business project data — customer names, addresses, job details, and project status information entered manually by the user. Stored in a secured PostgreSQL database.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Authenticate the authorized user via Google OAuth
  • Sync task due dates with Google Calendar
  • Upload and manage project documents via Google Drive
  • Send daily email digest reminders about upcoming tasks
  • Display project data in the dashboard interface

4. Data Storage & Security

All project data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway, a SOC 2-compliant cloud platform. Access to the App and all API routes is restricted by authentication middleware — only the whitelisted Google account can sign in. Data is transmitted over HTTPS. No data is sold, shared with, or disclosed to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following services:

  • Google APIs (OAuth, Calendar, Drive) — governed by Google's Privacy Policy
  • Railway — hosting and database infrastructure
  • OpenAI — optional AI-assisted document parsing (only when explicitly triggered by the user)

The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Retention

Project data is retained for as long as the business requires it. Google OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted session cookies and refreshed automatically. The user may revoke App access at any time through Google Account Permissions.

7. Your Rights

As the sole user of the App, you have full control over all data. You may view, edit, or delete any project data through the App interface. You may revoke Google API access at any time.
